Indicators that I have met in the coaching process as identified in the projects below:

Google Certified Educator
In the Spring of 2016 I enrolled myself in a series of trainings that are offered in the Google Training Center (https://edutrainingcenter.withgoogle.com/training). I completed both the "Fundamentals" course and the "Advanced Training Course" that are available on their site. By completing these courses I felt that I would be ready to take the Google Certified Educator examinations. I successfully completed the exams and became certified as a level 2 educator.
The Google examinations are focused on the ability to use the Google Applications For Education (GAFE). The level 1 exam is focused on the basics of using Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Mail and Google Forms. The level 2 exam is focused on more advanced use of the same applications and expands into Google Slides, Google Sites, and Google Draw. The exams are set up as 3 hour performance task. Each test taker is set up with a "fake" google account and asked to perform a long list of tasks. Upon completing the exam, the account is checked for accuracy and a total score is given.
I believe that these certifications will help me grow as an educator and help me become more confident as a Education Technology Coach. In addition, I now use the badges of my accomplishment in my email signature to show my colleagues that I have achieved this certification and hopefully instill more trust that I am competent in answering and training with Google related questions.

California State University at Fullerton
Masters of Education Technology Program
The most significant Professional Development that I have received has been through the Masters of Education program at California State University Fullerton. The program is focused on Education Technology and has helped me become a master at 21st century teaching and learning as well as fostered my abilities to coach others in these skills. Some of the topics that had a large impact on my professional life were; distance learning, research reading/writing, digital citizenship, website and application critique, blended and flipped learning environments, accessible technology, coaching and mentoring skills, and professional development implementation. All of the program was terrific but those stood out the most to me in my goals of being an effective 21st century teacher and mentor.
